SEASONS OF MY HEART


I love you in the Springtime,
Laughing in the rain,
Your joy at each new flower,
As Life returns again.


I love you in the Summer,
Lounging in the sun,
Your company for lazy afternoons,
And sunsets when day is done.


I love you in the Autumn,
Amid the falling leaves,
Crisp days, frosty nights,
And Halloween make-believes.


I love you in the Winter,
Amidst swirling flakes of white,
Cozy by the fireplace,
Keeping out the chill of night.


I love you all the year,
Through it's kaleidoscope of days.
Steady is my heart,
Through the seasons' ever-changing ways.
